Flamborough Fire Festival

The Flamborough Fire Festival is a spectacular celebration of Flamborough’s Viking history which takes place, each year, on New Year’s  Eve at 10.30pm in the Festival Arena.

This year the Festival will feature the invasion of an armada of Viking Longships which will be set ablaze by 2,000 flaming torches. The Flamborough Fireballs will also be in action finishing with a Fireworks Spectacular at Midnight!   This Festival now attracts over 5,000 visitors each year and is one of the UK’s top ten New Year’s Eve attractions to visit.  It is the biggest Festival of Fire in mainland Britain which welcomes all the family to come and take part in the celebrations!

The Festival has recently been nominated for the Remarkable Tourism Event of the Year Award by Visit Hull and East Yorkshire!
